Chocolate tasting experience
In Tuscany there are a great quality artisanal production of chocolate. During the month of January the chocolate masters took part in the show “Cioccolosità" created to promote and highlight the Tuscany “Chocolate Valley”.
We organize visits of chocolate factories in Pisa area and in Versilia, we show you a small traditional chocolate maker in Camaiore and tasting of the different flavors (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, astringency and saltiness) exalted by the rum to delight your palates. You will distinguish the subtle differences in the flavor of chocolate made with cocoa beans of various origins and intensities.
The experience takes approximately 1 h and includes the tasting of 4 types of artisanal chocolate, then accompanied with 2 types of rum served in 2 nice small chocolate cups. From bars to pralines to chocolate with dried fruit, all of the products are handmade and come after a selection of the best raw materials.
The cioccolato'mediterraneo 'stands in the flavoring of the chocolate taste. In comparison with chocolates from central and northern Europe, the difference is mainly in the types of fats that are used for the mixture: here instead of the cream, butter, etc., typical of the cold countries, there are the oil from pine nuts or walnuts, which is more typical of Mediterranean countries.
A very pretty experience, especially since the producer himself explains how you can personally enjoy chocolate. Chocolate tasting will allow you to truly savor gourmet chocolate. And learning to taste fine chocolate and appreciate its distinctive personalities is a pleasure.
