Tuscany was several time the source of the culture which developed in Italy from Etrurian civilization which was antecedent to Roman. Etrurian treasures, medieval cities, Renaissance art and an incredible sweetness of life. ..

Tuscany worth as many by her cultural patrimony, towns which saw the birth of Renaissance first of all in
Florence, as by her nature, with wine hills, green hills with olive trees and cypresses, wild in the Apuan Alps. Take advantage of many medieval villages with a generous gastronomy, of their old fortresses as Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Miniato, Volterra, San Gimignano. Versilia is a part of Tuscany that Europeans have known and loved for decades. Unlike the Chianti, Florence and Siena, which tempt the visitor to rush from one renowned artistic treasure to another, this coastal region invites you to slow down and relax.

Versilia is a beautiful land, set between the Apuan Alps and the sea. Elegant bathing locality, it is characterized by a coast which associates a rich vegetation and enviable see with white sand beaches, equipped for all needs, framed by
Apuan Alps where the Noble Carrara marble has been extracted. There are many different possible routes and itineraries for all kinds of tast, opportunities to plunge into the wonders of the landscape. It is pleasant during every season and recommended for all ages.

It is within easy reach of cities with artistic and cultural interest. You will be able reach the cities of Pisa, Lucca or Pietrasanta
in only 20 minutes. The Cinque Terre Ligurian spectacular protected area is about 1 hour from there and reachible directly by boat.

Versilia is a uniquely European type of resort area, a tranquil combination of beauty, culture, history, nature and great food that has been the beloved retreat of many fine artists beginning with maestro Giacomo Puccini, who built a home you can still visit today in nearby Torre del Lago. Here also take place the Festival Puccini during each sumer.

Viareggio, with the sparkling sea on one side, gleaming white marble mountains of the Apuan Alps on the other is the pearl of Versilia. First created as the port of Lucca, it is the oldest seaside town. Well known for its unique Carnival with its allegorical constructions, beaches and its long walking way seaside "Passeggiata", rich in shops and restaurants.

This region is rich in famous localities as
Forte dei Marmi, small trendy town, where during summer it is possible to meet some important people from fashion, show business and sport which leave here in splendid villa.

The roman town Pietrasanta is called the " small Athens " for her multiple artworks, and loved by important sculptors, painters and artists which enriched her with unique artworks.

Located in the foothills of the Apuan Alps, halfway between the sea and the mountain, on the wooded hills, visit the small Roman town
Camaiore, with its characteristic rustic houses, composed of numerous villages speraded on the green hills, at the foot of Mount Prana, created by Romans.

Towns of
Seravezza and Stazzema, immersed in the Parc of Apuan Alps, of which the territory is formed by a group of small hill villages is an ideal destination for those who likes walking and excursions. You can visit here the biggest cave in Europe, called "Antro del Corchia".
